A visual inspection is often sufficient to identify potential problems. If the roof is safely accessible, here is a list of questions to ask:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Does the roof appear to have inflated at one or more locations?<\/li>\n<li>Is there debris, branches or leaves?<\/li>\n<li>Are drains and gutters clogged or in poor condition?<\/li>\n<li>Are the seals cracked?<\/li>\n<li>Does the shingle tend to flex?<\/li>\n<li>Are stains, organic matter or mould present?<\/li>\n<li>Does water accumulate on the roof for more than 72 hours after heavy rain?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row type=&#8221;in_grid&#8221; el_class=&#8221;dark-services-row dark-row padding-b-6&#8243;][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/2&#8243; el_class=&#8221;overlay-column&#8221;][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h2>The attic, often forgotten from roof inspection<\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text el_class=&#8221;has-background&#8221;]During the winter, the greatest heat loss occurs through the last ceiling in the building (the one that separates the interior space from the attic), which promotes the formation of moisture and condensation in the attic.<\/p>\n<p>Difficult to access (and not very welcoming), the attic is often forgotten during an inspection. Again, if it is accessible and safe, it is inspected and asked the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is it damp or not?
